He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Max and Eunice Oliver Hood. He is survived by: his wife Janie McAllister Hood; his children, Shaun Hood (Kara) and Sonya Hood; his brother Terry Hood (Sandy); and his grandchildren, Izabella (Izzy) and Max Hood. He is also survived by Several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
