He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Ray Palmer and Hazel Mae Watkins Palmer; his son Stephen Lewis Palmer Jr.; and his brothers, Ronald, Jimmy and Terry Palmer.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa Anderson Palmer of Ringgold; his daughters, Cindy Palmer Wilson (Michael) and Stephanie Palmer (Jessie); his grandsons, Dakota Bumbalough, Braiden Pack (Macy) and Phoenix Bumbalough (Madison); his great grandchildren, Charlotte Bumbalough and Hadley Pack; his close friends, Randy and Kathy Williams; and his friend Roger Crittenden (Ariel). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Homes - Ringgold Chapel (443 Boynton Dr, Ringgold, GA 30736). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at the Old Anderson Cemetery (112 Christian Rd, Ringgold, GA 30736).
