He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Wallace Hightower and Ellen Katherine Monroe Hightower; and his wife Neta Lenora Jacobs Hightower. He is survived by: his children, Dan H. Hightower, Jr. (Kristal) of Roberta, Julie Dianne Grammer of Macon and Kathy Medley (Ronald) of Roberta; and his brothers, Tommy Hightower (Kay) and Monty Hightower. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.
