It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Carter of Roberta, Georgia, who passed away on August 13, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Martha's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Martha's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may she find rest in the embrace of eternity.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Clifford Argo and Velma Burgess Argo; and her sister JoAnn Hopson. She is survived by: her husband Robert Carter of Roberta; her daughters, Brenda Allen (Ronald) of Roberta and Sherrie McCollum (Wayne) of Musella; and her brother J. D. Argo of Roberta. She is also survived by four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to an organization of choice.
