We are sad to announce that on July 10, 2025, at the age of 76, Jerry E. Barnard of Rochelle, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Laura Barnard and Grady Barnard; his sister Betty Clark; his granddaughter Staci Barnard; and his half-sister Opal Bailey.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma Nell Burnette Barnard; his children, David Barnard (Laura), Tony Barnard (Dana), Matt Barnard (Kelly), Dana Keene (Joey) and Deena Gibbs; his siblings, Henry Barnard, Donnie Barnard (Deedy), Rosie Peavy, Shirley Gasperson and Kitty Burrell; and his siblings-in-law, Nadine Conner (Judy Burnette) and Edgar Burnette (Kathy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Calendar Pitts Church of God (127 7th Ave W, Pitts, GA 31072). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
