We announce the death of Kevin Lloyd Harpe (Rochelle, Georgia), born in Cordele, Georgia, who passed away on August 31, 2026, at the age of 55. Kevin will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his mother Elizabeth "Libby" Annette Hayslip. He is survived by: his father Dennis Harpe (Jessie); his stepfather B. F. Hayslip; his children, Kevin A. Harpe (Desi) and Ashley Hobby (Kam); his grandson Wyatt Hobby; and his siblings, Shannon Harpe (Jessica), Shown Layfield (Hollee), Shane Layfield (Amanda), Tanner Luther (Sarah), Mark Luther (Magen), Tisa Porter and Tracey Swain (Russell). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the M. G. Frazier Memorial Chapel (1016 4th Ave, Rochelle, GA 31079). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
