With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter Thomas Copeland of Rochelle, Georgia, who passed away on January 22, 2026 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Horace Copeland and Edith McKinney Copeland; his daughter Belinda Page; and his sister Marilyn Shoemaker. He is survived by: his wife Louise R. Copeland; his children, Mike Copeland (Tanya) of Rochelle, Vicki Weldon (Bill) of Vienna and Pamela Ramsey of Rochelle; his siblings, Stanley Copeland (Tillie) of Rochelle and Sandra Pate of Cordele; his grandchildren, Will Massey, BJ Weldon, Paul Copeland, Brad Weldon, Amber Moore, Chelsey Broadaway, Kelli Faircloth, James Ramsey, Hunter Page and Chanley Copeland; his great grandchildren, Nik Weldon, Camden Massey, Kyznlee Massey and James Moore; and his nieces and nephews, Amy Copeland Wainwright, Clay Copeland, Vince Shoemaker, Ben Shoemaker, Tammy Espe and Tiffany Graham.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Christian Home Baptist Church, care of Christy Hilliard.
