Dora leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Dora’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. She is survived by: her husband Mack Waters; her daughters, Debbie Thornton, Liz Patterson (Curtis) and Shari Harris (Kevin); and her grandchildren, Scooter Davis (Elizabeth), Josh Patterson (Felicia) and Lauren Morris (Jacob). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and several extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home (121 W Villanow St, LaFayette, GA 30728). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel.
