He was predeceased by: his parents, Bunyon Eugene Shirah and Jewell Shackleford Shirah; and his son Nathan Floyd Shirah. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Benefield Shirah; his sons, Stanton Shirah (Beverly) and Marty Bevins (Miranda); his grandchildren, Marlana Pratt, Paige Shirah Orcutt, Zachary Stanton Shirah, Paizley Shirah, Cole Shirah, Taylor Shirah (Madison), Elle Shirah, Malachi Shirah, Rainn Shirah, Makenzie Bevins, Marty Bevins, Jr. (Haley), Mirista Watts, Mileia Pollard (Samuel), Waylon Bevins and Mikaylin Bevins; and his great grandchildren, Don Andrew Orcutt, Cruz Holtsclaw, Khaza Elkins, Zaylon Shirah, Maelynn Bevins, Mercii Shirah, Baker Shirah and Cohen Jones.
