She was predeceased by: her parents, William Buren Thompson and Martha Janet Pugh Thompson. She is survived by: her sisters, June Sorrells (Glenn) and Lisa Thompson; and her siblings' children, Trey Sorrells (Danielle), Heather Owens (Carl), Holly Sargent (Kenny) and Kelly Sorrells (Katie).
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations may be made to the Rockmart First Baptist Church music program in memory of Mrs. Thompson.
