She was predeceased by: her parents, Thad Waters and Pearl Hames Waters; her husband Eugene "Jim" Fuqua; and her siblings, Gladys Fuqua, Evelyn Wolfe, Betty Sherman, Carl, Herbie and Jackie.
She is survived by: her son Donald (Judy); her grandchildren, Brent (Kristi), Kiel (Nadia) and Lee (Robbie); her great grandchildren, Andy, Jessie, Stella, Allie and Ava; and her sisters, Mildred Robinson and Patti Thomas (Dennis). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home (304 W Elm St, Rockmart, GA 30153).
