He is survived by: his wife Dianne Chambers Maxwell; his son Barry Maxwell; his grandchildren, Bethany Weingarten (Matt), Cayden Wheeler, Carson Wheeler and Lacey Brinkley; his great grandchildren, Lilly, Landon and Aspen; his siblings, Frances Abernathy, Janice Schildt, Ralph Maxwell and Larry Maxwell; and his siblings-in-law, Ron and Kay Chambers.
