Frank David Hilburn Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 11, 2025, at the age of 69, Frank David Hilburn of Rockmart, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Pershing "Pete" Hilburn and Barbara Williams Hilburn; his son Brent Hilburn; his brother Larry Hilburn; his stepfather Buster Crowe; and his former wife Joy Rudeseal Hilburn.
He is survived by: his wife Melinda Cornelius Hilburn; his children, Dena Arp (Keith), Josh Watson (Brittany) and Jacob; his stepdaughter Miranda Chappell (Trey); and his grandchildren, Emme Caroline Arp, Ella Christine Arp, Abigail Watson, Emma Faith Watson, Hensley Watson, Breaden Scott Turner, Kaylei Jade Watson, Natalie Watson, Jackson Lee Scoggins, Ryland Chappell, Brooklyn Chappell and Gracie Whitman.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home (304 W Elm St, Rockmart, GA 30153). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Antioch Baptist Church (3923 Antioch Rd, Cedartown, GA 30125).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta in Brent Hilburn's name.
