He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Haney and Lois Akins Haney; and his brothers, Bobby Haney and Don Haney. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Lester Haney; his daughters, Shea Floyd (Tyson) and Alison Haney; his grandchildren, Avery Terry (Chris), Ty Floyd, Noah Floyd, Kayson Atkins and Knox Atkins; his great grandchildren, Livi Jo Terry and Margo Louise Terry; his siblings, Joyce Atkins (Randall), Henrietta Edge (David) and Mike Haney (Renty); and his nephew Stephen Haney.
