It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Hatfield of Rockmart, Georgia, who passed away on April 7, 2026, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul A. Hatfield, Jr. and Sarah Aileen Owens Hatfield; his sister Paula Mock; and his sister-in-law Susan "Susie" Lynn Hatfield. He is survived by: his wife Edna Pilgrim Hatfield; his brother Eddie Hatfield; and his children, Owen Hatfield, Rusty Hatfield and Allison Good (Greg). He is also survived by two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
