With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wayne Leon Taylor of Rockmart, Georgia, who passed away on June 11, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Fay Taylor and Willie Everett Taylor; his wife Patricia June "Patsy" Kellett Taylor; his grandson Joey Womack; and his siblings, William "Buddy" Taylor, Chandler Taylor of Jimmy Roach, J. D, Harold Taylor and Bonita Waddell.
He is survived by: his children, Wanda Cole (Barry), Crystal Womack (Jerry) and Ricky Taylor (Andrea); his grandchildren, April Womack, Ashley Lively (Cary Streetman), Michael Woodall (Brooke Kerr), Dusty Cole (Tamara), Jodie Kitchens (Josh) and Molly Allen (Ladell); and his siblings, Shirley Taylor, Linda Conway, Kathy Robinson, Ron Taylor and Bobby Taylor. He is also survived by Twenty-three great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Euharlee Baptist Church (89 Hixville Rd, Aragon, GA 30104). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
