She is survived by: her children, Mary Ellen Gurley, Beau Sims (Rhoda), Lee Stewart Sims and Robert Sims (Cindy); her grandchildren, Anne Rouse Gurley (Andy), John Dozier Gurley (Melody), Vivian LeGare Sims, Jarvis Lee Sims (Ashley), Erin Michele Sims Coffey (Joe) and Elise McBryde Sims; her great grandchild Amelia Gurley; and her caregiver Lucretia Gonthier.
