It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Buddy Watson of Rocky Face, Georgia, who passed away on June 21, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Sidney William Watson and Mary Ellen Davis Watson; his son Brian "Butch" Watson; and his sister Bea Watson Wimpey. He is survived by: his wife Henrietta Thorne Watson; his daughter Angie; his son-in-law Jeff Kinsey of Rocky Face; his grandchildren, Holly Kinsey, Jarrod Watson (Shelly Holcomb), Valerie Childers (Ronnie), J. C. Morgan and Ben Thorne; his great grandchildren, Zachary Watson, Brian Watson, Aven Sullivan, Briven Sullivan, Corven Sullivan, Kynnlee Crump, Brylei Crump and Brynnleigh Crump; and his sister-in-law Suzi Thorne of Dalton.
