Corey Parris Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Corey Parris of Rocky Face, Georgia, who passed away on July 8, 2025, at the age of 33, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Corey departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Corey may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Corey leaves behind.
He is survived by: his mother Melissa Parris; his son Jadyn Zeth Parris; his mother Ashley Wooten; and his brothers, Johnny "Buddy" Parsons, Jr., Jacob Parsons and Jeremy Parsons. He is also survived by grandparents and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dalton Funeral Home (620 S Glenwood Ave, Dalton, GA 30721). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made to assist with funeral expenses.
