He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Clifford Collins and Mae Bell Collins; and his siblings, J. C. Collins, Wilburn Collins, Claudie Collins and Reva Godfrey.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Collins; his daughters, Theresa (Heath Morrison) and Angie (Robert Retelle); his brother Clayton; his sister-in-law Debbie Collins of Rocky Face; his sisters, Shirley McKinney of Gainesville, GA. and Annette Talley of Dalton; and his grandchildren, McKenzie, McKayla Morrison, Addie and Maddie Retelle.
