He was predeceased by : his parents, Victor Gibson and Ethel Chance Gibson; and his brother Jack Gibson. He is survived by : his wife Sherrie Smith Gibson; his children, Chris Gibson of Duluth, GA and Laura "Beth" Gibson Harvey; his son-in-law Mark Harvey of Rossville, GA; his grandson Colin James Harvey; his brothers, Billy (Martha Gibson) and Beverly Gibson Sherman of Lafayette, GA; and his aunt Becky Chance of Dalton, GA. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
