She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace King and Omagene King; and her daughter Alicia Susanne Shepherd. She is survived by: her husband Larry Shepherd; her children, Chrissie (Chris Smith), Jade (Oliver Rhudy) and Scott; her daughter-in-law Alyssa Shepherd of Ringgold; her brother Kimbrell; her sister-in-law Jackie King of Dalton; and her grandchildren, Caleb Smith, Carson, Hallie Smith, Griffin Rhudy, Garrison Rhudy, Avery, Noah Watts and Noah Earnest.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rocky Face Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home (2627 Chattanooga Rd, Rocky Face, GA 30740). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
