He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Hicks and Juanita Watkins Hicks; and his sisters, Vicki, Eddie Goss and Donna Hicks.
He is survived by: his wife Stella "Dyann" Whitmire; his daughters, Stacie (Mitchell Moss), Georgia, Brandi Weaver of Chatsworth, Beth (Brent Davis), Rebecca (Adam Thomas) and Mary (Bradley Dunn); his siblings, Ronnie (Linda Hicks) and Beverly Hall (Georgia) of Atlanta, GA; and his grandchildren, Austen, Kailee Horn, Allison, Ross Davis, Carson Weaver, Chandler Thomas, Cameron Thomas, Carter Thomas, Kalia, Sam McKenzie, Cassi, Neal Cochran, Bubba Thomas, Sissy Thomas, Marlee Dunn, Braxton Davis and Bayleigh Davis. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
