He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, June Edward and Dartha Henderson of Rocky Face; his grandparents, Henry Grady, Dora May Henderson of Rocky Face, Eli and Emma Baker of Tunnel Hill, Georgia.; his wife Betty; his daughter Valerie Henderson Silva; his son-in-law Edward Silva; his grandchildren, Edward Henry Silva and Emma June Silva; his sister Marcelle; and his brother-in-law Bruce English of Jacksonville, FL. He was also cherished by many cousins and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Grace Presbyterian Church (2107 Threadmill Rd, Dalton, GA 30720). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grace Presbyterian Church or Grace Medical Outreach, a charitable 501 (c)(3) organization that provides medical, physical, and spiritual care for homebound and indigent patients in Dalton and the surrounding area.
