He was predeceased by: his parents, Tommy Roy and Clara Mae Roy; his wife Wilma Roy; and his siblings, Mary Ellen Roy and Garland Roy.
He is survived by: his daughter Tracy; his son-in-law Keith Purvis of Louisiana; his sons, Jeff Roy of Dalton and Kelly; his daughters-in-law, Annie Roy of Ringgold and Kylee Roy of Dalton; his siblings, Kathy Miller of Houston Valley, Carolyn Goforth of Houston Valley, Dale (Lisa Roy) and Chris (Pam Roy); and his grandchildren, Dylan Roy, Allison Roy, Elli Grace Roy, Anna Roy, Maggie Chakales, Katie Chakales, Bo Chakales and Kyle Morrison.
