He is survived by: his wife Masako Nakashima Meade; his children, Jonathan Patrick Meade (Summer Smith) and Monica Anna Wilson; his son-in-law Dakota Wilson of Dalton, GA; his daughter Alexandra Klein; his son-in-law David Scott Klein of Alpharetta, GA; his stepson Dawson Roy Lewis III; his stepdaughter-in-law Rena Han of Nagasaki, Japan; his stepson Troy Yu Lewis; his stepdaughter-in-law Rachael Chong (Cory Ryo Lewis) of London, UK; his brother Michael Meade; his sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Meade and Debra Meade; his aunt Scarlett; his uncle Morris Griffith; his cousins, Michael and Julie Griffith; his niece Amanda Johnson (Garrett); his great-nephew James; and his grandchildren, Caleb Wilson, Emily Wilson, Emiko Lewis-Chong, Caroline Klein and David Klein Jr..
