He was predeceased by: his father William C. Masters; and his uncles, Ivan Masters and Keith Masters. He is survived by: his mother Mary "Jackson" Masters; his children, Garrett Masters of Dalton and Tonja Ensley (Tommy) of Rocky Face; his granddaughter Maddie Redmond; and his aunts and uncles, Lyndal Masters, Glenn Masters, Annie Mae Bright, Janice Masters and Doris Masters.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made towards the funeral expenses.
