He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy Tjebben; his stepfather Bert Tjebben; his sisters, Connie Varde, Bonita Alexander and Pat Hadler; and his brother-in-law Gerry Sutton.
He is survived by: his father Harold Alexander; his wife Lynn Alexander of Rocky Face; his daughter Michelle; his son-in-law Andy Thompson of Flowery Branch, GA; his son Scott; his daughter-in-law Lindsey Wolgast-Alexander of Harlem, GA; his siblings, Kathie Sutton of Pensacola, FL, Caroline (Greg Carithers) and Kim Tjebben of Iowa; his stepmother Cynthia Alexander of Pensacola, FL; his grandchildren, Kate Thompson, William Wolgast-Alexander and George Wolgast-Alexander; and his nieces and nephews, Alecia Enfinger, Ashley Seitz (Ed), Lacey Ray (Chad), Izabella Carithers, Peyton Carithers and Greyson Carithers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
