It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Roy Henderson of Rocky Face, Georgia, born in Dalton, Georgia, who passed away on September 7, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henderson and Alice Franklin Henderson; his brother Charlie Henderson; his grandson Roy Walker; and his son-in-law Wayne Walker.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Henderson of Rocky Face, GA; his children, Steven Bailey of Dalton, GA, Dustin Henderson, Ethan Henderson, Christian (Erica Henderson), Sherry Whitley of Atlanta, GA, Sheila Walker of Rocky Face, GA and Thresa (Jeff Walker); his grandchildren, Tabita Moore, Tiffany Brewer, Laura Walker, Sabrina Walker, Linda Whitley, Ella Henderson, Don Whitley and Bradley Walker; his siblings-in-law, Ben (Traci Rankin) and Tracy Henderson; and his father-in-law Sonny (Ty Winkle). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
