He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Edward Bowers and Winnie Clyde Mask Bowers; his wife Adrian Short Bowers; and his brother Joseph Robert Bowers. He is survived by: his children, Andy Bowers (Pam) of Watkinsville, Elyse Daniel (Mike) of Bogart, Tim Bowers (Tracy) of Christiansburg and Maria Bowers of Westminster; his grandchildren, Drew Bowers, Derek Varnadore (Meredith), Holli Peck (Clay), Tanner Bowers, Jacob Daniel (Kellie), Josh Daniel (Delaney), Jared Daniel (Emma), Emily Bowers Phillips and Ben Bowers; his great grandchildren, Eli, Molly, Jack, Annie, Reagan, McKenzie, Maddie, Rowan, Elizabeth and Sawyer; his sister Louise Callahan; and his sister-in-law Evie Bowers.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the South Chapel (3002 Maple Rd SE, Rome, GA 30161). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (100 E 4th Ave, Rome, GA 30161).
