She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Vandiver and Beatrice Buffington Vandiver; her husband Thomas Edward Nichols; her sons, Donnie Wright, Dennis Wright, Danny Wright and Davey Wright; and her siblings, John Vandiver, Buddy Vandiver, Evelyn Fowler, Mary Plemmons and Hattie Carter.
She is survived by: her son Wesley Wright (April); her grandchildren, Donna Posey (Chris), Wes Wright (Sara), Brianna Johnson (Josh), Christi Wright, Josh Wright (Amber), Stacy Bearden (Tee), Tori Wright (EM), Houston Wright, Haley Cagle (Jessie) and Peggy Denise Lemaster (Kris); her close friends, Charles and Brenda Langham; her great grandchild Bentley Wright; and her close friend Ashley Harp. She is also survived by loving great-grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Good Shepherd Funeral Home (2750 Shorter Ave, Rome, GA 30165). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
