It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Chreitzberg of Rome, Georgia, born in Greenville, South Carolina, who passed away on June 29, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Phillips and Mary Brown Phillips; her husband Benjamin Chreitzberg, Jr.; and her children, Julia Ann Chreitzberg and Benjamin "Ben" Chreitzberg, III.
She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Chreitzberg Bryant (Dennis); her brother George S. Phillips (Priscilla); her grandchildren, Virginia Nell Bryant, Alex Norman Bryant, Kathleen Sloan Chreitzberg Crippen (Ty) and Benjamin Kilgore "Tyler" Chreitzberg, IV; and her great grandchildren, Hinley, Aria and Isla.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made to the American Alzheimer's Association.
