We are sad to announce that, on January 11, 2024, at the age of 84, Bruce Paul Blalock (Rome, Georgia), born in Montezuma, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Blalock and Rhona Blalock; his daughter Beth; his siblings, Pauline Sudderth (Ed), Margaret Sudderth (Felton), Charles, Jerry and Lewie; his parents-in-law, Tarry and Ruby Garland; and his brothers-in-law, Gene Garland (Lydia) and Bud Garland.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tara Proctor and Debra Blalock (Shawn Thacker); his grandson Jarrett Proctor; his sisters-in-law, Shirley Daniels, Nancy Blalock and Frances Garland; and his close friend William Carroll (Bill). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be kindly made to Aaron Baptist Church, P.O. Box 266, Montezuma, NC 28653, or to an appreciation fund established at The Renaissance Marquis, Rome, GA (706-295-0014), to be shared amongst his caregivers.
