He was predeceased by: his parents, W. B. McFry, Sr. and Fannie Lou McFry; his wife Wyline Grogan; and his siblings, Lois Davis of Piedmont, AL, Norris McFry and Tatum McFry of Fresno, CA.

He is survived by: his sons, Gerald McFry of Rome, GA and Bobby McFry of Calhoun, GA.
