Charles L. Blalock Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Charles L. Blalock of Rome, Georgia. Charles, born on February 19, 1947 in Lindale, Georgia, passed away on September 25, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Charles for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry L. Blalock and Blanche V. Blalock; and his brother Ross Blalock. He is survived by: his wife Connie Blalock; his children, Allyson Yourkievitz (Greg) and Bryan Blalock; his grandchildren, Vince and Jessica Yourkievitz; and his sister-in-law JoAnn Shiflett (Wallace). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bush Arbor Baptist Church (3290 Blacks Bluff Rd SW, Rome, GA 30161). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
