It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Dee Keown (Rome, Georgia), who passed away on June 12, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Keown and Hugh Keown; his son Michael Walton; and his brother-in-law Joel Stone. He is survived by: his wife Jan Stone Keown of Marietta; his daughter Mary Kathleen Keown; his son-in-law John Wenger of New York; his grandchildren, Evelyn and John Michael; his brother Mark; his sister-in-law Stevie Keown of Chattanooga; his brothers, John Keown of Ellijay and Christopher Keown of Canton; and his siblings-in-law, Edward Stone of Marietta and Kaye Stone of Canton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lion's Lighthouse Foundation in Atlanta or Georgia Lions Camp for the Blind, Waycross, would be appreciated .
