With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charlotte O'Dell Moody of Rome, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 12, 2025 at the age of 85. As we bid adieu to Charlotte O'Dell's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Charlotte O'Dell has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Whitfield and Doris Whitfield; her husband Hubert E. Moody; her daughter Susan Amanda Moody; and her brother Robert Whitfield.
She is survived by: her son David Moody (Barbara); her grandchildren, Elyse Moody (James Connolly), Adam Moody (Michelle) and Doug Hammett; and her great grandchildren, Willa Connolly and Kieran Connolly.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Oaknoll Memorial Gardens (2549 Shorter Ave, Rome, GA 30165).
