He was predeceased by: his parents, William Paul and Edna Coker Collier; his son Franklin Mark Collier; and his siblings, Doris Collier Langley and William Gene Collier.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Yarbrough Collier; his daughters, Katherine Collier Sexton (Stephen) of Birmingham, AL and Tracy Jenice Collier Cline (David) of Auburn, AL; his grandsons, Jonathan Collier Sexton and Michael David Collier Cline; his brother Clayton Fredrick Collier; and his sister-in-law Jane Chalker Collier. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
