We are sad to announce that on September 8, 2025, at the age of 73, Connie Sue Chamberlain of Rome, Georgia, born in Fort Benning, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Connie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Connie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bill Chamberlain; and her parents, John Hugh King and Catherine E. Wingate King. She is survived by: her sons, Towing, William Joshua Chamberlain (Elaine) of Rome, Robert Bobby Thomas Chamberlain of Rome and Gerald Cody Chamberlain (Georgia) of Abbeville; and her grandchildren, Kailey and Claire Chamberlain.
