She is survived by: her mother Mary Ellen Johnston; her children, Jeremy Johnston, Jennifer Crumbley, Ashley Richardson and Shannon Byars; and her siblings, Jimmy Johnston, Stephen Johnston and Angela Goodson. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
