He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Towe and Sarah Towe; and his sister Lynda Williams. He is survived by: his wife Angela Towe; his brother Jerry Ross (Kim); his children, Ashley Clowdis (Brian) and Jeremy Slayton (Ashley); his niece Kim Hall; his great-nephew Zach Hall; and his grandchildren, Maggie Clowdis, Chase Clowdis, Andrew Slayton, Olivia Grace Slayton and Emerson Clowdis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Rather than flowers, as per Mr. Towe's passion, he would like any donation to go to Appalachian Trail Conservancy at appalachiantrail.org.
