She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Penny and Mary Penny; her husband Roy Evans; her daughter Debra Ann Cato; her granddaughter Tinleigh Cato; and her siblings, John Penny, Joyce Highfield, Dottie Robinson and Nancy Pierce.
She is survived by: her children, Kary Comparan (Jose), Mary Rogers (Brian), Sally Veliz, Amanda Hernandez, James Cato and Charlie Boozer (Kayla); her brother Hank Penny (Shelia); and her siblings-in-law, Tammy Penny and John Ed Robinson. She is also survived by ses twenty-two grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
