As we bid Deloris farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Deloris is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rovie A. Coy and Vada House Coy; her husband Ellis Houston Tant; and her granddaughter Michelle Brock. She is survived by: her children, Jean Brock, Johnny Tant (Vonnie) and Bart Tant (LaDonna); and her brother Jackie Coy (Betty). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 14 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Oaknoll Chapel (2542 Shorter Ave, Rome, GA 30165). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Oaknoll Memorial Gardens (2549 Shorter Ave, Rome, GA 30165).
