He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Hughes Peace, MD; his son Dennis Malcom Peace Jr.; his siblings, Martha Peace Sheffield (Hugh), Diane Peace Highfield and Dannie Peace (Elizabeth); his nieces, Jordan Highfield and Mary McAlister; his nephew Keith Sheffield; his great-nephews, Colin Sheffield and Garrett Sheffield; and his great-niece Avery McAlister.
