She was predeceased by: her parents, Clinton L. Teems and Bertha Lou Elrod Teems. She is survived by: her children, Renee Banks (Nathan), Shawn Dewayne Cook (Jessica) and James Nathan Cook (Alena); and her siblings, Imogene Fowler, Glenda Towe and Johnny Teems. She is also survived by six grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the North Chapel (4900 Martha Berry Hwy, Rome, GA 30165). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
