She was predeceased by: her father Golden Clarence Little; her husband C. L. Tate; her mother Thelma Hasty Little Cornelison; her brother Clarence Little; her stepfather J. Luther Cornelison; her half-sister Ruth Cornelison Medford (Alvin Melford); and her stepsiblings, Arvine Cornelison, Rembert Cornelison (Virginia Cornelison), Ovalee Thacker and Marjorie Albertson (Billy Albertson).
She is survived by: her friend C. L. Tate; her children, Mark Tate (Melanie) and Sylvia Chesser (Jay); her granddaughter Jazzmine "Jazz" Loreto; her nieces and nephews, Jean Evans, Bonnie Medford, Denise Huntley, Janet Bobeng (Greg), Eric Waters (Kathy), Larry Thacker (Sandra) and Steve Cornelison (Donna); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Alexis Evans, Kate McKinney, Steven Evans and William Waters.
