She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Summerfield and Snowie Casto Summerfield; and her husband Robert "Bob" Maxwell Shaffer. She is survived by: her children, Valerie Shaffer Martin (Gordon), William "Bill" Shaffer (Jennifer) and Matthew Shaffer (Debbie) of Colorado Springs, CO; her grandchildren, Jason Martin (Nicole), Jacob Shaffer, Luke Shaffer and Rebekah "Becky" Martin Bruner (Michael); her great grandchildren, Emily Ann Martin, Eli Martin, Wesley Bruner and Kaleigh Grace Bruner; and her brother John Summerfield. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
