It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Nell West of Rome, Georgia, born in Swainsboro, Georgia, who passed away on April 3, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, E. B. Hopkins and Emma May Hutchinson Hopkins; and her husband Cecil Carlos West. She is survived by : her grandsons, Andrew Williams of Auburn, AL, Michael Williams of Rome, GA and Wesley Williams of Rome, GA..

A graveside service was held on Sunday, April 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
