Earl Ray Drummond Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Earl Ray Drummond of Rome, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 23, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edward "J. E." Drummond and Hattie Howard Drummond; his wife Jewell Wilkins Drummond; and his great grandchild Gage Muse. He is survived by: his children, Earl Scott Drummond (Lisa), Timothy Shawn Drummond (Tabitha), Sharon Ann Blackwell (Marsha Welchel) and Cindy Michelle Smith (David); his sister Elizabeth Bentley; his close friend Mary Vaughn; and his grandchildren, Amy Mines, Dustin Drummond, Cody Drummond, Trenton Drummond and Kayla Nix. He is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the South Chapel (3002 Maple Rd SE, Rome, GA 30161). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
