With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edith Jean Johnson of Rome, Georgia, born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 31, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Edith Jean is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Aren Brown and Edith Norton Gaffney Brown; her husband Wesley Frost Johnson; and her sister Patsy Ann Brown Bledsoe of St. Simon's Island, Georgia.. She is survived by: her children, Judith Ann Johnson Frasure (Ray Alan) of Rome, GA and William Wesley Johnson (Tammy Sligar) of Jasper, GA; her grandchild Thomas Johnson Frasure of Rome, GA.; and her great grandchildren, Scottie Sligar of Austin and Stetson Sligar of Austin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
